PPC Marketing Executive (Google Ads) – Open

Platypus Digital is looking for a PPC Executive to join our growing team.

You’ll help deliver high-performing paid media campaigns for our charity clients, working across Google Ads (including Ad Grants, Performance Max, Search, Display and YouTube) and Microsoft Ads. You’ll plan, build and optimise activity that drives results, and use data to explain how your work is making a difference.

You’ll work closely with clients and colleagues to make sure campaigns run smoothly, targets are met, and insights are shared. You’ll also contribute to internal team calls, reporting, and ongoing improvement. From day one, you’ll be supported to grow your technical and communication skills as part of a clear pathway to Senior PPC Executive.

This role creates real-world impact by helping charities raise funds, reach people in need, and deliver their missions. You’ll also get 10% of your time to work pro bono for a cause you care about.

Non-graduates are very welcome to apply – you don’t need a degree for this position.

Role details

Location: We have a hybrid working setup with an office in London Bridge, SE1. Most people split their time between their home and the office. We’re not currently accepting remote-only applications for this role.

You’ll be expected to work from the office for around 29% of the year (around 63 days), including for client meetings, team days, and other key activities. This varies month to month but is designed to support flexibility and balance.

Role type: Full-time, permanent

Flexible working: We support day-to-day flexibility with your working hours. You can occasionally adjust your start and finish times around the team’s usual working hours (usually between 10am and 4pm) to accommodate personal commitments like school runs or appointments. These adjustments are agreed with your manager and can vary week to week, they’re not permanent changes to your working pattern.

This role is not open to part-time hours, compressed hours, or other formal flexible working arrangements.

Salary:

  • London-based: £37,000 – £41,000
  • Outside London: £34,000 – £38,000, plus up to £3,000 travel allowance

We offer a higher salary range for London-based team members, as our office is in London Bridge and we know the costs of travel and living in the city can be higher. For those based outside London, we provide a travel allowance to help support office visits when needed.

We value spending some time together in person helps us collaborate, learn from each other and feel more connected. That’s why we encourage regular office time across the year to allow for client meetings, team days, and shared planning,  while balancing this with the flexibility to manage your work in a way that suits you.

New starters always begin at the bottom of the range and are eligible for a stage review within their level after six months in their role.

Closing date for applications: Monday, 30th June 2025 at 8am.
